10:00am. Barnes and Noble finally opens and people are excited to get their bracelets!
10:15am. Finally in to get our golden bracelets. Now we just have to wait till midnight to get our books.
3:00pm. Harry Potter Place at Scholastic.
The famous book that captured our hearts -- signed by JK Rowling; under glass with high security.
5:00pm. Finally made it to Barnes and Noble.
7:00-10:00. Waiting around to go see Jim Dale.
Picked him up in the line for the Apothecary. I still have to the owl that I swiped from The Leaky Cauldron. Wonder if he still has the skull.
This group came from all over the country to be here in NY for the book release

10:30pm. Jim Dale doing a reading of his favorite Harry Potter passages. He was enchanting.
11:45pm. Starting to line up to purchase our books, and the countdown to midnight begins!
12:15 am. Calm has taken over in the subway after a long day of Harry Potter madness
